The Foundation Board formed the Community Advisory Council in 2003 to create a link between the Foundation and the communities the District serves to improve school- community relations. The role of this advisory council is to be informed about the foundation’s mission, vision, goals, program and fund development initiatives. They are asked to share their views, offer advice, and assist in problem-solving with Foundation officers; as well as interpret the Foundation's work within their circles of influence.

We are most grateful to those who have agreed to serve in this role as advisors to the Foundation. We envision this Advisory Council will assist the Foundation in its mission to enhance the educational experience of the students in District 181 and to raise the public awareness of the responsibility we all share for the high quality of our schools.
